Promoting the Oberhasli breed while reaching out to young dairy goat enthusiasts is one of the goals of the OBI.

Our hope is to offer some very special programs and incentives to youth involved with the Oberhasli breed.

Is there any interest... from young Oberhasli owners to have reimbursement grants that would help cover the costs of their first Linear Appraisals and One Day Milking Tests? Need help taking the first step to participating in these programs? Contact us.

Any young writers out there? We're looking for stories written by youth about their Oberhasli goats. Submit your story, along with photos or drawings, and have it posted in this youth section for all to see. We'd love to hear stories about how you got started with Oberhasli or what your plans are when you get an Oberhasli. Drop us a line at OBI.

Did you know that many of our OBI members offer discounts to youth, especially those youth participating in Linear Appraisal and some form of Official Milk testing? Check the OBI Member Directory.

Help! Artists needed ! We're looking for OBI Youth member original art work for this youth section. Do you have any drawings or photos of your favorite Oberhasli goats to share with us? We'd love to see them and post them here. Contact us.
