WELCOME to Redtail Ridge Farm, home to our Redtail Ridge Oberhasli dairy goat herd. We’re happy to see you found us. 

 

Surrounded by redwood forests and under the circling of redtail hawks, we've enjoyed sharing our lives here with a small herd of Oberhasli dairy goats, a few Nubians and an array of other farm animals. We're located on a sunny ridge in the Santa Cruz Mountain range of Central Coast California. With the Pacific Ocean only 6 miles away, yet perched at a 2000' elevation, we are fortunate to be able to enjoy both the wooded mountains and the open coastal climate in our part of the world.

VISITING SWISS OBERHASLI

 In ‘Visiting Swiss Oberhasli’ we share excerpts and photos from articles we had published about our visits to Switzerland. We met with Swiss Oberhasli goat farmers and viewed their beautiful Oberhasli herds located in the alpine meadow regions of the Swiss Alps.

SWISS BUCKS

Don’t miss the ‘Swiss Bucks’ on your visit. Swiss breeders generously allowed us to import frozen semen from two of their finest purebred Oberhasli bucks. There's also an outstanding Toggenburg and a rare Wallis Schwarzhal (Black-necked) buck featured.
